It definitely leans towards a cozy mystery with romantic elements. That said, In Farleigh Field was a fun and fast read. Although, I have recently bought Beneath a Scarlet Sky, so I may be featuring that in the future as well. I had just read other books similar to Beneath a Scarlet Sky and The Tuscan Child, which also both deal with World War II, so I decided on In Farleigh Field. I chose In Farleigh Field quite randomly. You might recognize some of the other titles: The Tuscan Child, The Ragged Edge of the Night, Beneath a Scarlet Sky, What the Wind Knows.all put out by Lake Union. However, as someone who likes to keep abreast of the industry, I’ve been wanting to read a book that Lake Union has produced. Readers are meant to enjoy books and not know how the sausage is made, so to speak. If you have no idea what I’m talking about, it’s fine. It’s called Lake Union and it’s been putting out some hits. Just like Penguin, Random House, and the others. In Farleigh Fieldĭid you know that Amazon has it’s own publishing house now? That’s right. In Farleigh Field has been floating around as a potential read for me for quite a while. *If you are new here, WELCOME!
